For the 2026 rankings, WirtschaftsWoche once again recognised GÖRG as a leading law firm in the areas of insolvency law and restructuring.
Five GÖRG partners were also recognised individually:
- Prof. Dr. Gerrit Hölzle, Dr. Holger Leichtle and Prof. Dr. Torsten Martini were recognised as TOP Lawyers 2026 for insolvency law.
- Dr Karl-Friedrich Curtze and Caroline Stevens, LL.M. were honoured as TOP Lawyers 2026 for Restructuring.
The rankings are based on an independent survey conducted by the Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) on behalf of WirtschaftsWoche. More than 1,700 lawyers from 190 law firms were surveyed to identify the most renowned insolvency and restructuring lawyers. A distinguished panel of experts ultimately selected the leading lawyers in the field from among the nominees.
This latest recognition underlines GÖRG’s outstanding position in the market for insolvency and restructuring law and reflects the high regard in which the firm’s expertise is held when advising on complex restructuring and reorganization projects.
