GÖRG advises Montano Real Estate GmbH on the acquisition of the “Pier 81” office complex in Hamburg

GÖRG has advised Montano Real Estate GmbH on the acquisition of the “Pier 81” office complex in Hamburg for a professional pension fund. The seller is Generali Real Estate SPA, acting on behalf of Generali Deutschland Versicherung AG. 

The multi-tenant office complex, located in the popular City -South district of Hamburg, has a total rental area of approximately 8,500 m². The main tenant is Arbeiter Samariter Bund Sozialeinrichtungen (Hamburg) GmbH. The property has seven above-ground floors, a two-storey large garage and its own boat dock with access from the water.

A GÖRG team led by Cologne partner Dr Markus Heider advised Montano Real Estate GmbH on all legal aspects of the transaction. 

Technical support was advised by CBRE, while tax advice was provided by WTS. Mayer Brown advised the seller on legal and tax matters. JLL brokered the transaction.
