Michael Winkelhog advises national and international companies on matters relating to taxation. One of his areas of specialisation is energy tax law.
Michael Winkelhog advises public sector companies, investors, private companies and businesspeople in matters of tax law and corporate law in connection with acquisition and sale processes, as well as restructuring and reorganisation measures and conversion processes. He specialises in providing corporate and tax law advice for energy and infrastructure projects, and has many years of experience advising energy supply companies and energy producers in the field of renewable energies.
His fields of advice also include all matters of electricity, energy and value added tax, insolvency tax law and non-profit status, including representation before financial and customs authorities in financial litigation proceedings.
Michael Winkelhog is an associated partner at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB. Before joining GÖRG, he was employed as a lawyer for a European business law firm in Düsseldorf.
After studying law at the University of Bonn, Michael Winkelhog completed his legal training in Bonn with clerkships at business law firms in Bonn and Paris (France).
He was admitted to the bar in 2010, and qualified as a tax advisor in 2014.
