Johannes Bitter-Suermann worked at an international bank in Hamburg, New York and Kiel in the areas of workout, international financing, real estate and leasing for many years. He was also a managing partner of an asset management firm with focus on real estate, private equity and renewable energy.

Following his law studies at the University of Passau, Mr Johannes Bitter-Suermann completed his legal training at the Higher Regional Court Celle. He was admitted to the bar in 2000.
