GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB has advised Ufenau Capital Partners on the investment in the Dr. Niedermaier Pharma Group ("Dr. NIEDERMAIER"). Founded in 1939, Dr. NIEDERMAIER is a leading producer and supplier of organic nutritional supplements and natural cosmetics with headquarters in Hohenbrunn near Munich (DE) and in Appenzell (CH).
With the investment in Dr. NIEDERMAIER, Ufenau aims to establish a leading group of companies in the field of nutritional supplements in Europe. Together, the firm’s market position will be expanded through strategic acquisitions, extension of the product portfolio and geographical reach. As part of the transaction, the former shareholders will reinvest in the newly formed group and will continue their engagement.
With over 50 employees and numerous cooperation partners, Dr. NIEDERMAIER produces and distributes throughout Europe nutritional supplements, natural cosmetics and beauty liquids in the premium segment based on the patented "Regulatessence". The "Regulatessence" is a highly concentrated, plant-based enzyme digest, which is manufactured in the firm’s own production facility in Hohenbrunn by means of a three-stage cascade fermentation of nuts, fruits and vegetables.
A GÖRG team led by Frankfurt partner Dr Tobias Fenck provided legal and tax law advice to Ufenau Capital Partners on the investment. The Swiss investor group regularly relies on the expertise of GÖRG's experienced PE specialist for transactions in the German market.
