After his law studies at the Universities of Passau and Münster, and a master course (LL.M.) at the University of Sydney (Australia), Dr Robert Brahmstaedt completed his clerkship training in Hamburg. He then gained a doctorate on an insolvency law topic from the University of Hamburg under Prof Reinhard Bork.
He was admitted to the bar in 2010.
