GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB advised Ampega Asset Management GmbH, a subsidiary of Talanx based in Cologne, on the acquisition of the office and retail building "FORUM" on the corner of Potsdamer Straße / Bülowstraße in Berlin for an affiliated group company. The seller is Aermont Capital.

The building, which was extensively revitalised and modernised by Pecan Development on behalf of Aermont Capital to a design by architects Gewers Pudewill, is located on the former Commerzbank site and has 15,800 m² of office and retail space. As part of the ESG strategy, BREEAM certification for sustainability is planned. The FORUM is part of the 33,000 m² office and commercial ensemble IM WIRTSCHAFTSWUNDER, which also includes the buildings "ZENTRALE" and "KONTOR". The office space is let long-term to the pharmaceutical company Takeda and the technology provider Grover, and Edeka and Rossmann have opened on the ground floor. Only recently another lease was signed with the traditional Berlin coffee house Einstein Kaffee, so that almost all the space is let.
