GÖRG advises Swiss investor group Ufenau Capital Partners on the sale of Lavatio GmbH to Argos Wityu.
Ufenau invested in the nucleus of the group in 2018 and has since developed it through six acquisitions, among other measures. By centralizing key corporate functions, such as procurement and sales, the group was strategically developed and has established itself as a leading B2B laundry group in the German-speaking region.
Lavatio GmbH, headquartered in Hünfeld, Hesse, along with its eight subsidiaries, operates eight laundries across Germany under seven local brands, employing more than 750 staff. As a full-service provider, the group companies rent and launder a variety of textiles, including bed linens, terry goods, and table linens for the hospitality and catering sectors, workwear for industrial and commercial clients, as well as laundry services for care facilities and the healthcare sector.
A cross-location GÖRG team led by Dr Tobias Fenck provided Ufenau with comprehensive legal and tax advice during the complex sales process. The Swiss investor group has relied on the expertise of Dr Tobias Fenck and his team for many years for transactions in the German market.
