He studied law at Osnabrück University and the University of Seville (Spain). After studying law, he completed a doctorate in law with a thesis on a sports law topic at the University of Oldenburg in 2012. Dr Jan-Henric M. Punte then went on to complete a postgraduate course of study in international business law in Kingston upon Hull (UK) (LL.M. in 2013), and a postgraduate, distance-learning course in sports law at the distance-learning University of Hagen.
Dr Jan-Henric M. Punte completed his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Oldenburg, with clerkships at an international business law firm in Düsseldorf and London (UK).
Prior to working for GÖRG, Dr Jan-Henric M. Punte spent just under three years at an international business law firm in Düsseldorf, working in the areas of corporate law and M&A. Here, he advised DAX and MDAX-companies, and others, on a great variety of corporate law matters.
Dr Jan-Henric M. Punteis regularly published in the trade press on corporate law and stock corporate law matters.
He was admitted to the bar in 2015.
