Led by Hamburg-based partner Dr Jan-Henric M. Punte, GÖRG advised an international single-family office on its investment in the BRANDT*POLARUS Group. The family office is acquiring a majority stake in the BRANDT*POLARUS Group. The parties have agreed not to disclose details of the transaction.

The BRANDT*POLARUS Group, based in Barntrup (North Rhine-Westphalia), develops and manufactures box bodies and multi-compartment systems for refrigerated transport. Building on longstanding customer relationships and the development of new markets, the company has grown significantly in recent years: the number of employees has increased from around 30 in 2018 to over
100 today. At the same time, production structures have been modernised and further aligned towards modular, efficient processes. The acquisition of STS Kühlfahrzeuge in southern Germany in 2024 marked a further step towards regional expansion. Since 2025, the group has also been represented in Switzerland with its own sales and service centre.

The single-family office and BRANDT*POLARUS intend to jointly continue the expansion of the group.

An interdisciplinary team from GÖRG provided the single-family office with comprehensive crosspractice advice, covering corporate and tax, as well as real estate, IP, IT and data protection, and employment law.
