Patrick Wambold advises national and international companies, FinTech and digital financing platforms on capital market and banking regulatory issues. His focus is on bank-independent corporate and project financing with an emphasis on equity and debt instruments, (electronic) securities (according to the German electronic securities act (eWpG)) and tokenization within the scope of MiFID and the European Crowdfunding Service Provider Regulation (ECSPR).

Furthermore, he focuses on the structuring and definition of digital distribution and compliance processes of such digital platforms, and advises international market participants on the prerequisites and possibilities of market entry in Germany. 

Career

Patrick Wambold is an Associate at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB.

Before joining GÖRG, he worked as a lawyer at an European commercial law firm in Frankfurt am Main. 

After studying law at the University of Heidelberg, Patrick Wambold completed his legal clerkship in Karlsruhe, Germany, with stations at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer and an international chemical company in London, England. 

He was admitted to the bar in 2020.
