GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB has advised GBC Group on the addition of Pride Capital Partners as a mezzanine investor. With the help of the financing, Pascal Bechtel and Tobias Geisinger, co-founders of GBC, are continuing their strategy to build a leading group of IT services companies in the DACH region.
The GBC Group is positioning itself for digitalisation in the SME sector through the merger of innovative and technologically oriented companies. In the past, the two GBC founders have already implemented a successful buy and build strategy in the healthcare sector. After acquiring an initial anchor investment, they were able to expand a group of care services to 12 locations and 650 employees before leaving the company.
Pride Capital Partners' investment will support GBC Group on its way to becoming a leading IT services group in the market, with a clear focus on adding value for clients and creating a preferred workplace for talent. Implementing this strategy, the GBC Group recently made another acquisition – advised by a team led by Frankfurt partner Dr Lars Weber – with the purchase of Pohl Consulting Team GmbH.
A GÖRG team led by Cologne partner Dr Thomas Lange provided legal support to the GBC Group in the financing of Pride Capital Partners.
