Dr Kerstin Goeck is an associate in the areas of corporate law and M&A at GÖRG. Her advice encompasses national and international corporate transactions including private equity transactions, reorganisations and restructurings. She can operate either on the side of the seller or the buyer, overseeing the entire transaction process (bidding process, structuring, due diligence, corporate purchase agreements and post-merger integration).
Further areas of her activity include advising on structured corporate purchases (LBO, MBO, exits) and joint ventures, as well as the associated solutions for complex shareholder structures.
She also deals with integrations, and the sale of investments or parts of operations.
Dr Kerstin Goeck is an associate in the areas of corporate law and M&A at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB. Before joining GÖRG, she worked as a lawyer for a German law firm that specialised in distribution and antitrust law.
Dr Kerstin Goeck studied at the University of Cologne and at University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne (2006 – 2012). She completed her legal training at the District Court of Aachen, including clerkships with the German Embassy in Rabat (Morocco) and at the Cologne office of a large international law firm and a medium-sized firm. Following her legal training, Dr Kerstin Goeck gained her doctorate from the University of Cologne with a thesis with the translated title: “The Responsibility of the Federal Republic of Germany for Imposing Administrative Penalties in the case of a Breach against the Ban on Cartels under European Antitrust Law.”
She was admitted as a lawyer in 2016.
