She has extensive industry expertise, particularly in the infrastructure, retail, logistics, healthcare and technology sectors, as well as extensive experience in advising on structured acquisitions.
Dr Kerstin Goeck is an associate partner in the Corporate/M&A department in Cologne. Since 2017, she has advised on national and international M&A transactions, joint ventures and mandate-related corporate law issues. She can work either on the side of the seller or the buyer and assists clients in all phases of the transaction (bidding process, structuring, due diligence, sale and purchase agreements, post-merger integration).
Her focus is not only on legal advice, but also on strategic support throughout the entire transaction process. Other key areas of activity include advising on structured corporate acquisitions as well as corporate law issues in the context of corporate reorganisations and restructurings.
Her clients include medium-sized and larger companies as well as private equity funds.
Dr Kerstin Goeck is Counsel at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB in Cologne. Prior to joining GÖRG, she worked for other well-known law firms in the areas of M&A and corporate law.
After her studies at the University of Cologne and at the Université de Reims, Champagne-Ardenne, she completed her legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Aachen with clerkships, inter alia, at the German Embassy in Rabat as well as at a large law firm in Cologne. Following her legal traineeship, Dr Kerstin Goeck completed her doctorate in antitrust law at the University of Cologne (2018).
She was admitted to the German Bar in 2016.
