GÖRG advised Rubix Germany on the acquisition of the PTS Group, based in Dormagen. The acquisition took effect on 1 October 2026. With this acquisition, Rubix is expanding its expertise in fluid, process and drive technology and strengthening its offering for industrial and OEM customers.
An interdisciplinary GÖRG team led by Cologne-based partner Christopher Schiller advised on the transaction. The acquisition forms part of Rubix’s international network and growth strategy. It combines the PTS Group’s technical expertise with Rubix’s product and service portfolio and its Europe-wide sales and service network.
The PTS Group has around 80 employees and specialises in hydraulics, pneumatics, steam and valve technology, and drive technology. Another key focus is on components and solutions for the control, regulation and monitoring of liquid and gas flows, particularly for the chemical, petrochemical and process industries. The offering is complemented by application-specific consultancy, customer specific assembly of components and repair and other services.
Rubix is Europe’s largest supplier of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products and related services. The group has more than 10,000 employees at over 750 sites in 24 countries and serves more than 220,000 customers. In addition to industrial supplies, its service portfolio includes technical consultancy, services and customisation and manufacturing services carried out in its own workshops.
