Dr. Christoph Niemeyer advises on corporate transactions, joint venture projects, restructurings, post-M&A disputes and corporate and capital markets law issues.

In addition, he advises banks and insurance companies on regulatory issues, such as governance structures, restructurings, M&A, run-off, functional spin-offs and capital investment. One focus of his practice is on transactions with a connection to Italy.

Dr. Christoph Niemeyer is a partner at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB.

Before joining GÖRG, he worked as a lawyer for a large business law firm in Cologne and before that for a leading international law firm in Düsseldorf. He studied at the universities of Bonn, Geneva and Rome and received his doctorate in 2008 in Cologne with a thesis on insolvency law.

He was admitted to the bar in 2008.
