GÖRG advises CEE Group on the acquisition of the Teuchern wind farm
GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB, under the lead management of partner Thoralf Herbold, successfully advised CEE Group on the acquisition of the Teuchern wind farm in Saxony-Anhalt. CEE Group is a Hamburg-based asset manager specialising in renewable energies. With assets under management of around 1.9 billion euros, the company invests in energy generation projects in the wind and solar sectors, thus opening up this alternative asset class to institutional investors in particular.
The Teuchern wind farm consists of a total of seven wind turbines, three Enercon E-126 EP3 turbines with a rated output of 4.00 MW each and four Enercon E-138 EP3 turbines with a rated output of 3.5 MW each.
The seller is the Danish Driftsselskabet Heidelberg ApS. The commercial management is carried out by CEE Operations GmbH. AEZ Dienstleistungs-GmbH is responsible for the technical management of the wind farm.
GÖRG advised CEE Group on all legal issues in connection with the transaction. In addition, GÖRG also provided comprehensive advice on tax and commercial issues, including financial model, through its tax advisory and audit arm.
