GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB advised HUK-COBURG on an investment in Neodigital Versicherung AG and on the establishment of a joint venture in the field of motor insurance with Neodigital.
With the strategic investment in Neodigital, HUK-COBURG primarily aims to combine the innovative technology of the InsureTech, which was founded in 2017, with its own strengths and to further develop and expand its business in the area of digital motor insurance products. HUK-COBURG is currently already the largest provider of telematics tariffs in the German insurance market.
For the transaction and the formation of the joint venture, HUK-COBURG once again relied on the proven GÖRG team led by Berlin partners Dr. Roland Hoffmann-Theinert and Dr. Ünsal Demir, which most recently also successfully advised the insurer on an investment in the digitalisation company SDA SE Open Industry Solutions.
