The future of gas grids: shut down...
Dr Liane Thau is a lawyer and partner at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten in Berlin with outstanding expertise in energy law. As an experienced lawyer, she advises national and international companies on all legal aspects of the energy industry. She specialises in particular in obtaining and securing project rights for existing industrial plants and new industrial plants.
Her main areas of advice therefore also include authorisation and permit issues, for example water permits and waste water notices and landfill sites. In addition, she has practical expertise in disputes relating to noise or odour nuisance in complex regional mixtures.
Dr Thau also advises companies on the conclusion of power purchase agreements, the construction and supply from their own renewable energy generation plants and electromobility. She regularly works together with her colleagues from GÖRG's public procurement law practice. This has resulted in an accompanying legal advisory practice in the ESG area, both on the generation and procurement side, and in particular in the conceptual implementation of sustainability, decarbonisation and due diligence obligations in the supply chain and the step-by-step management of heat planning.
As a partner at GÖRG, Dr Liane Thau contributes significantly to the strategic orientation and development. With extensive expertise and many years of experience, she and her team provide their clients with competent support in the areas of energy generation and environmental issues relating to existing industrial sites.
Dr Liane Thau is involved in the bar association and is a member of the Berlin Bar Association. In addition, she shares her knowledge and experience with prospective lawyers and is actively involved in various professional networks.
