Dr Marie Ackerman advises the public sector and companies on matters in the area of public commercial law. Her focuses are environmental and planning law, and public sector building approvals. She has great expertise in advising on and assisting with large infrastructure projects and plant construction.
Career
Dr Marie Ackerman is a partner in public commercial law at the GÖRG Hamburg.
Following her degree in law at the University of Hamburg, she obtained her doctorate in law under Prof Ulrich Ramsauer, on a topic of civil litigation. She then studied in France at the University Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, and completed an LL.M. with a focus on European law. Dr Marie Ackerman completed her clerkships at a major business law firm in Hamburg and at the Federal Ministry of the Interior in Berlin.
She is a frequent author on environmental and planning law in “juris Praxis-Report”.
