Dr Christoph J. Müller advises national and international companies on all matters of individual and collective labour law. In particular, he has considerable experience in the labour law aspects of corporate acquisitions, reorganisations and restructurings, as well as the negotiation of corporate agreements. Another key area of activity is advice on the conclusion and termination of employment contracts with executive employees and company representatives. In connection with this, Dr Müller advises numerous international, in particular US, companies and their subsidiaries in Germany.

His sector focus is in the areas of healthcare & life sciences, media and entertainment, and trade and services.


Dr Christoph J. Müller is a partner at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB. Before joining GÖRG, he was a lawyer at a large international law firm in Berlin.

After studying law at universities in Saarbrücken, Bonn and Cologne, he obtained his doctorate at the University of Cologne under Prof Dr Peter Hanau, on a labour law topic. He then completed his legal training in Cologne, with clerkships at business law firms in Düsseldorf and New York (USA).

He was admitted to the bar in 1997, and has been a specialist for labour law since 2002.
